Shipping Policy
What is the typical processing time from placed order to shipment? Orders are processed in less than one business day. The only exception to this is in the event of a hurricane which is rare.
How fast will my PlexiDor Dog Door ship once the order is placed? We ship standard product orders in one business day unless on backorder. Standard products refer to all items except the “Glass Series” products and custom glass products which will require additional time to fabricate. In the event of a hurricane shutting down operations, orders will be shipped upon return to the building. This is usually within two business days.
Common sized “Glass Series” products take up to 5 business days to ship. They will ship from our Utah location. Custom “Glass Series” products take 2 to 4 weeks to fabricate and will ship once completed. Email questions@plexidors.com with your “Glass Series” product questions.
Where does PlexiDor Dog Doors ship their products? We ship anywhere in the United States from our factories in Florida or Utah depending what product you have purchased.
International Shipping: Authorized importers ship directly from their in-country warehouses in Canada, the United Kingdom, Sweden, Denmark, The Netherlands, Australia, Hungary, Italy, the Czech Republic, and Norway. For other countries outside of the United States, PlexiDor ships from the Florida factory alone.
Typically how fast is a PlexiDor Dog Door delivered and which carrier will be used? We use UPS and FedEx for shipping our products. The default USA shipping methods are UPS or FedEx Ground and takes 1 to 5 business days to arrive. One and two day shipping is available, upon request. What are the average charges for shipping a PlexiDor Dog Door? For the PlexiDor “Door Series” dog doors, “Wall Series” dog doors and line of accessories ground shipping is included for all 50 United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. For all “Glass Series” units there is an oversized shipping charge currently of $95 for all of the United States, including Hawaii and Alaska. For shipments outside the United States, email questions@plexidors.com for a shipping quote.
