These prefabricated glass units feature a factory installed PlexiDor dog door and are designed to replace the glass currently in your existing door. You should keep your existing glass to reinstall in case of renting or moving to another location. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery.

The one-piece design allows for ease of installation and simply replaces the current glass panel in your door frame. Your existing door hardware and lock is retained – only the glass is replaced creating a sliding glass door with a dog door built in. These inserts are manufactured with insulated (IGU) tempered glass and provide excellent energy efficiency. There are sizes available to fit most sliding glass door frames. The inserts are available in both clear glass and Low-E glass. Low-E glass has a slight green tint to it and is safety tempered. It reduces the infrared and ultraviolet light coming through without minimizing the light entering your home. I can’t believe I’m the first to review the Sliding Glass Doggie Door. We got a Plexidor door (door mounted) several years ago for our two Golden Retrievers. WOW!!! I cannot believe the difference between (begins with Pet) at the big box stores and Plexidor. In the winter, we used to have winds blowing into the basement thru the doggie door every day. After we got Plexidor, NOT ONCE, did we have the doggie door blow open due to the winds in 5 years! We just moved and we just had to have Plexidor again. There was no sense looking for a less expensive brand. We knew this product works! Our new house just had the plexidor incorporated into a sliding glass door. OMG, this actually works! Pricey, yes. But we love our dogs but hate walking them or letting them out.
